OFFLINE Terms and Conditions
VFS Global Services Private Limited Ltd. ("VFS") has been duly authorized by
Visit Britain to undertake the transaction.
By using these services provided by VFS you agree to be bound by these Terms and
Conditions.
VFS reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without
notice by posting changes online/removing any product or in any manner
whatsoever. You are responsible for reviewing regularly information posted
online to obtain timely notice of such changes.
Accuracy of Information and Liability of VFS
VFS does not accept responsibility and VFS disclaims all warranties, express or
implied, including as to the accuracy of the information contained in any of
the material, implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular
purpose. The sole and entire maximum liability of VFS for any reason and your
sole and exclusive remedy for any cause whatsoever, shall be limited to the
amount paid by you for the particular product/item purchased by you. VFS is not
liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages including
damages for loss of business, loss of profits, litigation or the like whether
based on breach of contract, breach of warranty, tort (including negligence)
product liability or otherwise. All items are subject to availability.
Prices
All prices, unless indicated otherwise are in local currency.
In a credit card transaction, you must use your own credit card. VFS shall not
be liable for any credit card fraud. The liability to use a card fraudulently
will be on the user and the onus to 'prove otherwise' shall be exclusively on
the user.
VFS reserves the right, without prior notice, to discontinue or change
specifications and prices on products, programs and services offered in its
Visa Application Centers without incurring any obligations VFS reserves the
right to limit the order quantity on any item and/or refuse service to any
customer without prior notification.
Change or Cancellation of your order
You are entitled to return the goods purchased to the Visa Application Centre
from where you have purchased the goods within seven working days from the day
on which you purchased the goods. Please carry the receipt issued by VFS
against the purchase at the time of return of the goods.
Acceptance of the transaction shall be at the sole discretion of VFS.
Please note that there will be a cancellation charge of 20% of the purchase
price which shall be deducted at the time of refund.
Refund will be made by cheque within a period of fifteen days and will be sent
at the address provided by you
Refund Conditions
Please note that the following conditions apply depending on which product you
are returning.
Books, Maps and Poster
You may return your order within seven working days after
the day on which you receive the goods.
Transport Tickets
BritRail Passes, Travel Cards, Oyster Cards, Touring Passes and Tickets
Refunds are limited to completely unused and invalidated passes or tickets. No
refunds will be granted on partially used passes or tickets. No refunds will be
given on reservation fees.
Certain ticket categories may have special conditions which do not permit
changes or cancellation.
Downloadable MP3 Files/E-vouchers
We regret that we are unable to offer refunds on these
products.
Law & Jurisdiction
This agreement shall be construed in accordance with the applicable laws of
India. The Courts at Mumbai alone shall have exclusive jurisdiction in any
disputes arising out of this agreement.
